This is an opportunity for teens to develop strength, balance and endurance, as well as a capacity for positive thinking, a healthy body image and meaningful relationships.


The regular practice of yoga helps to train your “emotional muscle” during the time of immense changes in the body's chemistry and physiology to handle any experience and challenge with strength and confidence. It reduces symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress. Yoga is also highly beneficial in strengthening muscles and bones, which contributes to improved posture.


Adolescence is a critical stage in the development of personality, self-care and independence. Yoga offers powerful health and wellbeing tools, as well as positive, holistic and creative ways to stimulate teens during this challenging time.
